David Burkes - Senior Partner
David Burkes, C.A.∙IFA, Public Licensed Accountant has been practicing
as a sole practitioner Chartered Accountant since January of 1981,
having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1974 and as an
Investigative and Forensic Accountant in 2000.
David’s expertise includes that of giving financial and taxation advice
to the owner-managed small business corporation. David has also been
qualified as an expert witness in accounting matters in courts both in
Canada and the United States.
David belongs to both the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants,
the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a member of the
Investigative and Forensic Accounting Alliance. David is also a Licensed
Public Accountant under the auspices of the Province of Ontario. In
addition, David holds a certificate of Mediation from the University of
Windsor Law School. David has also sat on the Board of Directors of a
number of charitable organizations in the Toronto area.
